Every moment with your infant is precious at Peaceful Beginnings!  In the infant Environment, it is designed to meet your child’s every need and demand! There is open floor space for your infant to crawl and move about. There is a rocking chair to soothe and rock your infant into a peaceful rest! An assortment of Montessori materials to engage your infant’s cognition and lovely European beds to allow your infant the freedom and mobility to be “free” to move around the room at his/her own pace.  During Devotion time your infant will hear spiritual songs and be introduced to praise and worship and in closing of Devotion your child’s teacher will send forth blessings for your infant in prayer.

We know that letting your infant come to us may be difficult. But rest assured each contact and care-giver your infant encounters will work with you hand in hand to help your child feel as comfortable as possible.  You will be given a daily written report about your child’s day as well as encouragement to help support the growth taking place in your infant!

At this tender age children are inventors, problem solvers and discoverers.  They are learning about the world around them one day at a time! Repetition! Repetition! Repetition! Children love to repeat the same task over and over and over and over!  We encourage children in this environment to feel as comfortable as possible as they learn vital skills of respecting and adjusting to the Montessori environment.  The mastery of the cycle of activity is crucial in this environment as it will prepare them for the Primary class that awaits them! Your child will have many wonders of Practical experiences, such as, gardening, large/small motor skill development and pre-math conceptual development.  Visual aids and vocabulary enrichment exercises in English and Spanish are woven into the daily schedule for your child.   Your child will begin spiritual enhancement by learning appropriate grace and courtesies during devotion time and as they mature attending chapel services.  Dancing, movement, finger plays and nursery rhymes will serve as an extension to pre-math, pre-language, sensorial and cultural concepts.  Your child will also receive formal potty training to aid in his independent skill development.
