We take our responsibility seriously to guide your child through a world of discovery on the path to constructing a secure, balanced personality with an active competent mind.
At PEACEFUL BEGINNINGS MONTESSORI ACADEMY, we take our responsibility seriously to guide your child through a world of discovery on the path to constructing a secure, balanced personality with an active competent mind. We refer to the students as “friends”, this creates a healthy relationship with the adult to child relationship so the “friend” feels comfortable to communicate with adults. The happy balance of freedom to explore and work within a prepared, orderly environment, filled with specially designed mind engaging sensorial materials and activities, is the hallmark of the Montessori learning environment. The art of the instructor is to respect the freedom of each child to forge his/her own unique path of learning and growth, energized by his/her own natural curiosity; but vigilant to inspire and encourage each child to take in hand a rich enough wealth of activities and experiences to ensure successful development.
PEACEFUL BEGININGS MONTESSORI ACADEMY is a private school that has that “at home” feeling. The environment s very clean and sanitized so the children feel comfortable in their environment. We offer nutritious, warm, heartfelt breakfast, lunches, and snacks, which promote healthy eating habits, and children are encouraged to try new foods. Parents who select PEACEFUL BEGINNINGS MONTESSORI ACADEMY have a greater peace of mind and confidence when they leave their children. We are different because of the ongoing support of the parents and children.
Thank you for your consideration to be enrolled in our ACADEMY. We look forward to building a rewarding relationship with you and your family.

The happy balance of freedom to explore.
In 1907 Maria Montessori accepted a new challenge to open a childcare center in a poor inner-city district. This became the first Casa dei Bambini, a quality learning environment for young children. The youngsters were unruly at first, but soon showed great interest in working with puzzles, learning to prepare meals, and manipulating materials that held lessons in math. She observed how they absorbed knowledge from their surroundings, essentially teaching themselves.
